The Deoriatal to Chandrashila Trek is a short, beginner-friendly Himalayan trail that offers unbeatable views of snow-clad peaks like Chaukhamba, Trishul, and Nanda Devi. Starting from the peaceful Deoriatal Lake and culminating at Chandrashila summit (4,000 m), this trek passes through dense forests, alpine meadows, and the ancient Tungnath Temple—the highest Shiva temple in the world. Ideal for all age groups and especially beautiful during spring and autumn, it’s perfect for a long weekend escape from cities like Delhi or Dehradun.

Itinerary
Day 1: Haridwar/Rishikesh to Sari Village
Day 2: Trek from Sari to Deoriatal to Rohini Bugyal
Sari to Deoriatal to Rohini Bugyal - Trek Distance: ~7 km | Time: 7–8 hrs
Camp/Stay near Rohini Gubyal
Enjoy sunset with giant himalayana peaks like Chaukhamba, Meru-Sumeru and Kedar Parvat reflections in the forgraound

Day 3: Deoriatal to Chopta via Rohini Bugyal
Trek Distance: ~13 km | Time: 6–7 hrs
Cross beautiful meadows and rhododendron forests
Reach Chopta by evening, overnight in guesthouse/camp

Day 4: Chopta – Tungnath – Chandrashila – Guptkashi
