Overview

The Deoriatal to Chandrashila Trek is a short, beginner-friendly Himalayan trail that offers unbeatable views of snow-clad peaks like Chaukhamba, Trishul, and Nanda Devi. Starting from the peaceful Deoriatal Lake and culminating at Chandrashila summit (4,000 m), this trek passes through dense forests, alpine meadows, and the ancient Tungnath Temple—the highest Shiva temple in the world. Ideal for all age groups and especially beautiful during spring and autumn, it’s perfect for a long weekend escape from cities like Delhi or Dehradun.
